Application and challenges of eye tracking technology in Higher Education

Advances in neuro-technology provide new insights into how individual students learn educational contexts. However, applying it poses challenges for teachers natural settings. This paper presents an example of the use and applicability eye-tracking technology Higher Education. We worked with a sample 20 from three universities (Burgos Valladolid Spain Miño Portugal). The objectives were: (1) to determine whether there were significant differences indicators cognitive effort (FC, FD, SC, PD, VC) found between without prior knowledge; (2) clusters learning behavior patterns among students; (3) analyze visualization patterns. Los avances neurotecnológicos están posibilitando en los contextos educativos nuevos conocimientos sobre la forma de aprender cada estudiante. No obstante, su aplicación plantea retos para docencia naturales. En este trabajo se presenta un ejemplo uso y aplicabilidad tecnología seguimiento ocular el ámbito Educación Superior.
